Meta Pixel Integration

The Meta Pixel, also known as a Facebook Pixel, is a piece of JavaScript code that you place on your online store to track and measure the effectiveness of your Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns. It focuses on tracking user behavior, engagement, and conversions specifically within those ads.

Meta Pixel is created in Facebook Ads Manager. When you add Meta Pixel in the Business Manager, you can run ads and track their performance on both Facebook and Instagram.

How to Add Meta Pixel to eCommerce Store

Once you've created Meta Pixel in your Facebook Ads Manager, you can add the pixel code to connect Facebook by Meta to your eCommerce store without touching any code.

If you haven't created a Meta Pixel yet, follow the steps in the How to Create Your Meta Pixel section below.

To add the Meta Pixel to your eCommerce store:

  1. Log in to your eCommerce admin panel
  2. Navigate to Settings → Integrations
  3. Click on the Add button for Meta Pixel
  4. On this page, add your Meta (Facebook) Pixel ID to the input box
  5. Click Save

That's it! You've successfully added the Meta Pixel to your eCommerce store.

How to Access Your Meta Pixel

To find your Meta Pixel ID:

  1. Open Business Settings in Business Manager
  2. Select your business
  3. Navigate to Data Sources, where you will find your Pixels
  4. Look for the Pixel ID enclosed in parentheses right under the name

How to Create Your Meta Pixel

To set up your Facebook Pixel, follow these steps:

  1. Open Facebook Ads Manager
  2. Click on the All Tools icon located in the left panel and select Events Manager
  3. In the left-hand side menu, click on the Connect Data Source button (it's a green "+" plus icon)
  4. In the popup window, choose the Web option and click Get Started
  5. In the Set up Web Events window, select Facebook Pixel and hit the Connect button
  6. Enter the desired name for your pixel and provide the URL of your eCommerce store in the respective fields
  7. Finally, click Continue to proceed with the setup

By following these steps, you will successfully configure your Meta Pixel for your eCommerce store.

Once created, your Facebook pixel will be formatted as ID: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

The verification process might take a few minutes. To ensure your pixel is functioning properly, you can visit your Events Manager page on Facebook. In the Test Events tab, you can confirm if your events are being received accurately. If you encounter any problems, you can identify and address them in the Diagnostics tab.
